President John presided over the first meeting of the New Year and the first one since December 16th.

  1. Post-Party Praises:  The Club unanimously complemented Mark Kolier and his family for hosting a wonderful Holiday Party in their lovely home on December 18th.
  2. Four Way Test Contest:     Mike Essman, a senior at Wilton High and a member of the Interact Club, will represent Wilton in the District’s annual “Four Way Test Speech” contest on Jan. 15th.
  3. Arts & Crafts Show Coming: Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 27th.  Letters to prospective advertisers and crafters will be going out at the end of the month.  Richard will be calling for assistance to put the letter packages together.
  4. Oldies Show: Last October’s show netted the Club over $9500 – congrats to Paul for a great performance.
  5. Exchange Student Progress Report: Our wonderful exchange student from Ecuador, Dani, continues to excel and impress.  She made the honor roll at WHS and is heavily involved in the theater program.  She has experienced her first snow and her first Thanksgiving. Dani is applying to several colleges in the US, including Smith, Skidmore and Northeastern. We have really enjoyed having her as part of the Glass family for the past 5 months.
